It was a picture-perfect wedding on the hottest day of the year as Georgia and Marcus tied the knot at the stunning Birdsall House wedding venue near Malton in North Yorkshire.

We had the honour of joining the couple as their videographer to film their special day. We started with a relaxed morning as we shot video of radiant bride Georgia getting ready with her bridal party. The suite was filled with laughter and a celebratory atmosphere as her hair and make-up were artfully done, paired with a few glasses of champagne. Once Georgia was helped into her gorgeous Ellis Bridals gown by her mother and sister, it was time for the big reveal to her father and bridesmaids, which elicited happy tears all around.

The ceremony at the charming St. Mary’s Church on the Birdsall estate was simply beautiful. We quickly set up to capture groom Marcus looking dapper with his groomsmen as they greeted guests in front of the spectacular garden floral display. After a meaningful service and shower of confetti, the newlyweds took a quick vintage car ride back to the Birdsall House for the outdoor reception in the ruins, allowing us to get great footage of the couple and their families against the picturesque backdrop.

The reception was made even livelier by a performance from the talented HUM Gospel Choir, who had also serenaded at the church. We rounded up all the guests for a grand shot outside the pillar-lined entrance before they headed in for the delicious wedding breakfast catered by The Hog & Apple. And of course, we had to steal the couple away for some golden hour footage. Back inside, we caught all the fun moments on video – the speeches, cake cutting, and the first dance. The party really came alive when The New York Royals band lit up the dance floor.

It was truly an incredible day from start to finish for the lovely couple! As their videographers, we couldn’t have asked for a more picture-perfect celebration to film.
