Delivering high-quality wedding footage requires patience and an artistic eye. Following your discussed shot list, we’ll take time composing shots, adjusting lighting, and moving discreetly to capture reactions. This attentive dedication shows in the final video.
INITIAL EDITS AND HIGHLIGHTS
After the wedding, our post-production work begins by backing up and reviewing footage. We deliver a 1-3 minute highlight wedding video preview within a few weeks after the wedding. This delivers a joyous “sneak peek” while the full-length wedding video edit continues. The highlight video also serves as proof of life, assuring our couples that their day was successfully captured. We may also edit short social media wedding clips to share immediately after the wedding.
MAIN VIDEO PRODUCTION
This is when the real wedding video artistry happens. Your full ceremony, speeches, dances, etc., are hand-edited into a cohesive visual story with a logical flow and transitions. Our skilled videographers use techniques like slow motion, synchronised music, colour correction, and more to elicit emotions. This polished wedding video editing process typically takes our experienced editors 6-8 weeks. Our timeline includes any additional services like custom graphic intro titles, drone wedding footage, or multiple videographers that are part of your wedding video package. We ensure all requested services are delivered within our standard 6-8 week editing process.
QUALITY CONTROL AND DELIVERY
Before sending your full wedding video, we conduct thorough quality control checks. Re-watching the video ensures flawless editing from start to finish. Audio levels and colour balance are finely tuned. When the editing finally meets our high standards, we export the video. This final rendering can take several hours. After double-checking the video looks pristine, and delivery is arranged. For our Deluxe and Ultimate packages, the video is delivered in a gift box on a USB stick along with 10 printed stills. Other packages receive digital delivery.
